The companies industry is related to Energy / Renewable Energy and goal is to develop, finance, construct and opportunistically acquire conventional and renewable power generation assets across Asia and Australia. The role for CFO is a newly created role to help set up the operations and handle overall Accounting, Finance, Tax, Investments in Thailand, before growing & training their own team. Possible career advancement into Regional APAC role as the company grows and invest more in other projects or countries. The Chief Finance Officer in Bangkok will report to the Chief Executive Officer in Bangkok and Group Finance Director in Singapore.

Job Description:

  • Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
  • Manage the capital request and budgeting processes
  • Manage the financial and accounting affairs of the Company and its affiliates including accounting, taxation, billings and payments, audit, review of monthly financial reports, human resources, construction management, and compliance management
  • Supervise due diligence process in the evaluation of investment opportunities and negotiate acquisitions
  • Manage and maintain contact with a network of third party service providers, external consultants and industry experts
  • Collaborate with and partner the development team and other support functions to ensure that business and financial reporting is complete, accurate and timely
  • Performing general contract/agreement reviews and participating in business development activities as and when required


  • Bachelor in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 10+ years working experience at senior or top level with well-known firms
  • Prefer from industries related to construction, power, energy, renewable energy, oil & gas, land or industrial development, manufacturing which has Investment
  • Dealing and resolving commercial issues associated with turnkey EPC contracts preferred
  • Experience in debt administration, compliance and capital management (debt and equity)
  • Ability to establish "middle and back office" for the construction phase and transition to operations
  • Strong in local GAAP and familiarity with IFRS
  • Good leadership and presentation skills
  • Strong problem solving skills, ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions
  • Good command of English both in spoken and written
